what are the main reasons for the javelin landing flat with school girls?
The girls are not throwing high over the shoulder. They usually "push" the javelin. The hand must be high during the throw (above the ear). They must also "slap" through. That means the wrist and palm must show up, and the wrist must bend after the throw. From Dreyer Campbell.
