hi..i'm a head cricket coach of a leading school and trying to organise well set structure for the school for the age groups of 11 yrs to 19 yrs and would appreciate if anybody can give me some ideas..thanks

You should first select players by seeing how they bat or bowl and if anyone is allrounder give him chance both in batting and bowling.After you have selectd them teach them what mistakes they are making.Don't group them because of their age.Group them according to their talent.Be friendly with them.Sometimes divide them into teams and have their match.Watch the full match.Teach them rules.Give each child equal oppurtunity and get them to play with other schools as well.

hi sajith , you can do one thing . you can orgnise inter school under 11 and 19 tournament. there you can pick the right boys for acadamey or school team. now those boys has not selected they will do hard work for next tournament for selection. school children want to play match rather then practice so through match;s you can motivate childrens to play cricket and you can build a acadamey or good school team.

Hai sajith, I would suggest to u that you organised many tournament to see and select the potential players for u to choose and from there u can select the most potential, dicipline and hard working players. Non dicipline u can elimate from ur team and by this way they can improved themselves and u can have a good team since in your country they loved cricket more than other sports compared to my sate in Malaysia.
